Six finalists of The Liveability Challenge 2021 demo day

Launched in 2018, The Liveability Challenge is a global call for
viable, groundbreaking solutions to some of the greatest problems facing
cities in the tropics in the 21st century.

 

Finalists will compete for the grand prize of up to S$1 million in grant funding for project development by Temasek Foundation, a minimum of S$50K investment by Planet Rise, a S$50K investment by Amasia and S$50K investment by Silverstrand Capital.

These the finalists of Livability Challenge 2021:

 

DiviGas
Hydrogen membranes used in carbon capture at refineries. Carbon capture and hydrogen recycling at hydrogen plants. 

 

Econic Technologies
Their catalyst technologies enable the use of captured CO₂ to make better plastics, at lower cost, more sustainably. Carbon dioxide – From waste to opportunity. 

 

NEU Battery Materials
NEU recycles lithium ion batteries using an electrochemical method. NEU’s clean and modular system allows for rapid scalability to capture the growing lithium battery market.

 

Seachange
Seachange is changing the way oceans are treated by providing emissions free transit through electric hydrofoiling ferries. Large-scale removal of carbon dioxide through seawater.

 

SEPPURE
SEPPURE creates sustainable nanofiltration solutions to separate chemical mixtures at a molecular level with minimal energy use. 

 

Aegis Packaging Aegis Packaging is taking the step forward to protect the environment with their RECYCLABLE high barrier coating, O₂X.
